{"id":1056,"date":"2016-01-16T00:41:02","date_gmt":"2016-01-15T23:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/talakademin.nu\/?p=1056"},"modified":"2016-01-16T00:41:02","modified_gmt":"2016-01-15T23:41:02","slug":"blah-blah-blah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/talakademin.nu\/index.php\/2016\/01\/16\/blah-blah-blah\/","title":{"rendered":"Blah, blah, blah&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Blah, blah, blah.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Anyway, Jane, when I emphasize a stutterer&#8217;s breathing, thinking, or focus, for me that is going back to &#8221;head stuff&#8221; which is what ruined my speech in the first place. \u00a0 (When I work on focusing my attention in a certain place, I am back to thinking, imagining, analyzing, trying and effort (all head stuff). \u00a0 When I think about what I am focusing on, I am both thinking\u00a0and trying.\u00a0 When I focus on positive thoughts, I am thinking.\u00a0 When I focus on negative thoughts, I am thinking.\u00a0 And what interferes with my flow is all this head stuff.\u00a0 This is not only true for stuttering, it is the main theme of world-class coaches.\u00a0 One of the great tennis players of our time wrote about how he wins his matches&#8230;.after the first match, the player approaches his opponent \u00a0and asks &#8221;I just wanted to ask you how you manage that marvelous wrist movement of yours.&#8221; \u00a0This puts the guy&#8217;s focus on his wrist movements and his game goes south from that point.\u00a0 Anyway, here is another short excerpt from the book:<br \/>\n(Ruth Mead)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><em>Det \u00e4r intressant att l\u00e4sa om hur \u00e4ven andra personer t\u00e4nker om &#8221;att stamma fram&#8221; sina ord och meningar. \u00a0Hur skall jag t\u00e4nka, n\u00e4r mina egna tankar inte st\u00e4mmer \u00f6verens med andras?
